Bettmeralp is located on a car-free sunny plateau in the Aletsch Arena between Brig and Fiesch in the Upper Valais. At 2,000 metres altitude snow lies metres deep from mid-November to mid-May, meaning that snow is guaranteed in winter.

The Hotel Bettmerhof is located on the sunny side of Bettmeralp right next to the ski slopes in a superb location.

A leisurely walk from one end of the village to the other end takes roughly 15 minutes.
